Ingredients:
1 pound beef blade steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 small onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
1/4 cup oyster sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 cup water
Salt and pepper, to taste
Cooked rice, for serving
Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Place the beef pieces in the slow cooker.
In a mixing bowl, combine the oyster sauce, soy sauce, cornstarch, and water. Mix well to create a sauce.
Pour the sauce over the beef in the slow cooker.
Add the sliced onion, minced garlic, and bell pepper to the slow cooker.
Season everything with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Stir the ingredients in the slow cooker to ensure the beef and vegetables are coated with the sauce.
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or until the beef is tender and the flavors have melded together.
Once the cooking time is up, taste the dish and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
Serve the slow-cooked Oyster Beef Blade over cooked rice.
Garnish with fresh cilantro or green onions if desired.
