Lemon Garlic Herb Chicken Breast
Ingredients:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 lemon, juiced and zested
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish.
Pour the lemon-garlic-herb mixture over the chicken breasts, making sure they are well-coated.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and is no longer pink in the center.
If you'd like, you can baste the chicken with the pan juices halfway through the cooking time.
Once done, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, keeping the chicken moist and flavorful.
Garnish with fresh chopped parsley for a burst of color and freshness.
