1. Promoter
The promoter is G. McBean Family Butcher (ABN [ABN]), Shop 501, Prahran Market, 163 Commercial Road, South Yarra VIC 3141 (“the Promoter”).

2. Promotional period
The competition opens at 12:00am AEDT on Friday 16 October 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on Wednesday 11 November 2026 (“the Promotional Period”). Entries received outside the Promotional Period will not be accepted.

3. Eligibility
3.1 Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over who are able to collect the prize in person from Prahran Market, South Yarra, Victoria.
3.2 Employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, and agencies associated with this competition are not eligible to enter.

4. How to enter
4.1 To enter, visit gmcbean.com.au/pages/xmas-giveaway-2026 and submit your first name, last name and email address to join the G. McBean mailing list.
4.2 Limit of one entry per person. Multiple entries from the same person or email address will be counted as one entry.
4.3 Entry is free. No purchase is necessary.
4.4 Entries made using automated or bulk methods, or with false or incomplete details, are invalid.

5. The prize
5.1 There is one prize: the G. McBean Whole Ham Pack. It consists of a Traditional Full Leg of Ham (8–8.5kg), duck fat potatoes, potato gratin, sage butter veggie trio, ham glaze and apple sauce. Scoring and cloving are not included.
5.2 The prize is valued at $402 (incl. GST).
5.3 The prize must be collected in store from G. McBean Family Butcher, Shop 501, Prahran Market, during a two-week pickup window from Friday 11 December to Thursday 24 December 2026, on a day and time arranged with the winner. The prize cannot be delivered. If the prize is not collected within the pickup window, it will be forfeited and no alternative prize will be offered.
5.4 The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. If any part of the prize becomes unavailable, the Promoter may substitute it with an item of equal or greater value.
5.5 The winner is not entitled to any financial reimbursement in connection with the prize. This includes travel, parking or other costs of collecting it, and applies if the prize is forfeited or any part of it is substituted. Any costs not expressly included in the prize are the winner’s responsibility.

6. Winner selection
6.1 The winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries at 10:00am AEDT on Friday 13 November 2026 at Prahran Market, South Yarra VIC 3141.
6.2 The winner will be notified by email within two business days of the draw. The winner’s first name and last name will be published when the winner is announced, including on Instagram at @gmcbeanfamilybutcher and on the Promoter’s website.
6.3 The winner must claim the prize by 11:59pm AEDT on Wednesday 18 November 2026. If the prize is not claimed by then, a redraw will take place at 10:00am AEDT on Thursday 19 November 2026 at the same location, and the new winner will be notified in the same way.
6.4 The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. Publicity
7.1 By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to take part in reasonable publicity for the competition, which may include being photographed or filmed when collecting the prize. The Promoter may use these images, footage and the winner’s name in its media and promotional material, including social media, email and its website.
7.2 The winner is not entitled to any payment, fee or other financial compensation for this participation or use.
7.3 By entering, entrants agree that, if they win, their first name and last name may be published as set out in clause 6.2.

8. Privacy
By entering, you agree to join the G. McBean mailing list. Your details will be used to run this competition and to send you news and offers from G. McBean, in line with the Promoter’s privacy policy [link]. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

9. General
9.1 The Promoter may disqualify any entry it reasonably believes to be fraudulent, incomplete or in breach of these terms.
9.2 To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage arising from entry into the competition or use of the prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9.3 This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Meta.
